Sir,In recent annoucement from rly dept, train no. 9601 and 9602 has been extended upto Bhuj from 01-07-03.Your site as well as PRS are still showng it from Gandhidham BG to BDTS. The corrections in your network / data server should be made accordingly and on top priority. Earlier also I have given sugestion that the name of Bhuj station has been changed now from earlier NewBhuj to Bhuj. But, still your system recognises as NewBhuj [NBVJ].Such type of corrections should be made on top priority once any announcements are made and things are declared.Regards,Jigishu Shah

Any day if I want to purchase a ticket for Howrah from Jhajha (ECR)by 2304 Poorva Exp, the reservation clerk at Jhajha booking says that the system is showing "NO ROOM". Whenever there is timing changes in train schedules...for e.g. latest effective from 1.07.2003Even though all train timings are not changing....in all Computerized ticket, it showing" ( NEW TIME TABLE FROM 01-07-2003 ) "actually it should be printed only those tickets for the trains whose time really have been changed, instead of blindly printing on all tickets. This results in unnecessary confusion to passengers and he/she worries about and meaning emerges that Time table is really changed for his/her train.Even on website we are not getting separate list of the trains whose timings have been changed.Pls. suggest something....as per me something definitely can be done with software of Railway to resolve this error and to print warning of new time table on only those trains whose times really have been changed.Pls. replykalpesh Tamboli

It is suggested that the details of "Date & scheduled Time of Arrival at the destination concerned" were also provided. Then it will be of great help to the passengers. Hello,It is noted that there is a problem in the reservation of tickets from Chennai Egmore (code- MS) to either Villupuram Jn (code - VM) or Vridhachalam Jn (code - VRI) for any of the days in the Vaigai Express Train No.2635. This has been like that for the last 2 weeks. because of this reason i could not able to book my onward journey from chennai egmore to villupuram. Sir,I was browsing your site for the status of the availability for Fuluknama Train. I was going round all the pages except for the correct page. We are the regular users of site and we always face the same problem of station coeds. Suppose if i want to know the station code of "Vizag" or "Visakhapatnam" i am unable to get it. We can't dream and guess the station codes or Get in to the minds of the people who designed the site to know the Station code. It has to be in such a way that as soon we enter in to the site we need to get the station code. Put it as a list in the menu,segrigated zone wise.Please lookinto this matter and do the needful.RegardsSrikanth

You have a wonderful online service. But, the extra charges attached to the online booking made via credit cards or debit cards is not correct. These additional charges should not be added. More and more people should be made to use this serivce. But, by adding extra charges on the original ticket price via internet. On the train no 5011, Rapti Sagar Express which left Chennai on 1.07.2003 there were four compartments not having any doors on all the four toilets. I had to travel in the Compartment No Ex 1. This is highly pathetic that all the ladies passengers had to run almost 4 compartments away to find a toilet with door.This is a sorry state of affairs of Indian Railways and we talk of customer care only on paper and never attempt to practice it. Unless there is serious thinking on the part of Indian Railways to really improve the care for the customers, I do not think the public at large will get better and qualitative service.Whether Indian Railways will look into such issues in the wider interest of passenger care and safety is still a question at large.

The new time table has been put on your site. However, it is not the all india time-table, but only for SE Railway. Your website is an all india website, and hence should be having an all india time-table. I got my ticket(Sleeper) reserved from Amolak Travels(Authorised Agents of Northern Railway, Beadon Pura, karol bagh, New Delhi)for going to Lucknow from Delhi by Farakka Exp. on 30/06/2003. While travelling from NJP (Siliguri) to Sealdah on 09.05.2003 I was astonished to see that vendors were preparing Omlette inside the train which is the reason of worry.Why shall the trains not catch fire if such things are allowed to go on in this sector.Again, while travelling on 11.06.2003 to Saharanpur from Howrah it was not possible to move from one Compartment to the other or to the pantry car as there were around 200 persons per compartment (i.e; 128 people travelling in Reserved Comp without tickets) specially near the door.....that too in Bihar......how do you think can you make this undo....not only this means a loss of revenue...but also harrasment to the people travelling with proper tckts....and cause of accidents in the trains. Sir/Madam,In the reservation we need to fill the Starting point of the reservation and the boarding point. These two can be different as is in my case. In such case to my knowledge, ticket should be issued from the starting point quota. Is this correct? Please give a Time Table for a particular Station. i.e List of Trains coming to a Bhopal and Trains going from Bhopal OR UP and Down Trains. Getting reservation in A/c in Falaknuma is always a problem. This is the only fast train from Secunderabad to Kolkatta and there is only one 3A & one 2A. Since most of the passengers prefer this train, I would be better if the number of 3A couches are increased to atleast three

In the Train/Fare Accommodation section, when one put source and destination stations such that there are no direct trains but with connections in between. I have been really happy to note the new and innovative initiatives of the MInistry of Railways in catering to the needs of citizens. But at the same time, I have a few suggestions to make to augment Railways' financial resources. For example, Railways have not been able to check unauthorised passengers due to shortage of manpower. To overcome this problem, you can involve NSS Volunteers (National Service Scheme Volunteers) in all Railway Stations to assist your own Authorities. They may be paid a meagre amount of Rs.20-50 subject to revenue generation on a particular day through fines collected from unauthorised travellers. In every college there must be at least one NSS Unit containing 100 volunteers. So, a select group of volunteers from one college would attend to the work between some fixed hours. I wonder what is the point of operating booking office at International airport New Delhi from 8AM to 8PM, while majority of the flights arrive after 8 PM. Most of us either have to stay overnight in a hotel or proceed by A/C Coaches. I am sure Indian Railways can afford to open their counter 24 hrs 365 days a year.PS Are you of the opinion that NRIs and Foreigners don't deserve this service.
